Equipment
Ships can (and often must) be augmented with Equipment.
The types of equipment are as follows:

Weapons:
- Blasters (balanced DMG)
- Disruptors (+shield DMG)
- Cannons (+armor/hull DMG)

Ordnance: High DMG Weapons that can only be used a limited number of times per encounter. Types are:
- Bombs
- Missiles
- Rockets
- Ion Cannons

Armor: Armor plates. Heavy but effective at blocking all types of damage (especially explosive).

Shields: Deflector screens that require a lot of power. Work better the faster the projectile. Strong vs. high-velocity slug ammo and ion weapons. Weak to Disruptors and low-velocity slugs.

Engines: Two stats: Speed and Maneuverability. Faster ships have higher initiative. More maneuverable ships have higher evade chance.

Computer: A "trinket" type item which grants various buffs or modifications, and increases number of player-customizable tactics slots.

Reactor: The heart of any starship. The Reactor provides a flat power generation rate of X units of power per turn.

Capacitor: Virtually all equipment that uses power requires a much higher output than a reactor alone can provide. The Capacitor stores energy up to a rated number power units, which it can dispense at incredible rates as-needed. When at less than its full capacity, the Capacitor is replenished by the Reactor.

Hyperdrive: Must be equipped for a ship to travel between sectors. The quality rating of a Hyperdrive determines the time it takes for a ship to travel between sectors.
