Regions - The Core

Owing to its rich resource density relative to The Old Worlds, The Core (Orange) was the first region to be colonized after the development of Hyperdrive technology. In the early days hyper colonization, only the super rich megacorporations had the resources to gain a foothold in The Core.

Over the 1,000+ years since those corporations colonized the region, most of their mega-city planets have begun showing their age; and while they remain the spiritual seat of corporate power, the corporations in the present day fight tooth and nail vying for resources in the much more dense (and dangerous) Coreward Sector where their more contemporary offices are located.
