Regions - The Whispering Reach

The Whispering Reach (Purple) is a dark and seemingly empty arm of the galaxy whose properties pique the interest of planetologists because it should not be so sparse compared to other regions.

There are inklings of theories that an archaic intelligent race stripped this area of the galaxy clean before disappearing without a trace prior to reaching the interior; but these theories are scoffed at by most academics.
